A week back on a pleasent Saturday afternoon I was invited to attend the Forest Essentials event that took place in Pune. I was delighted as it was a brand I was looking forward to know more about and also it gave me an opportunity to meet fellow bloggers from Pune. And I did get to meet the lovely Abhilasha from . It was indeed a pleasure interating with her, and I am glad I made a new friend.

Forest Essentials : Luxurious Ayurveda is a brand that has created  niche for itself in skin are world in a small amount of time. Forest Essentials was founded in the year 2000 after many years of meticulous research. After many years of development with trained Ayurvedic physicians, a range of natural skin care and hair care products was evolved. The view that Ayurveda advocates, is that a holistic approach is necessary for beauty care.

More on the event..I was invited to get a consult on my skin and hair needs from an Ayurveda doctor. So when I got there I was asked to fill out a form it was kind of a questionnaire on personality traits. The kind you find in magazines. I was intrigued as to what it has to do with my skin and hair needs, but the doctor described to me about the THREE FACES of BEAUTY. Vata, Pitta and Kapha. To know more about these please click HERE

After my consultation I was given a list of few products appropriate for my skin and hair needs. I have dry and damaged hairs and extremely dry skin specially during winter months.  I was also given some dietary recommendations along with few breathing exercise. It was a good consultation and I was mightily pleased. After that I went into the store and tried on the products.

Forest Essentials is a brand I have been wanting to try for quiet some time, but I am currently loving my skin care routine so dont quiet want to change it. Once the current lot of products get over I now have a new list of products to try.

Here are few pictures of the store and their wonderful products.

FOREST ESSENTIALS I left with a goody bag which they graciously provided us…which had a face cleanser that I am yet to try. I shall do a review soon on that.

I had a lovely time getting to know more about the brand and specially because its Ayurveda and is our heritage.  Do check out Forest Essentials products on your next trip to the mall.

Until Next Time…
